The Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology Administration will assume responsibility for selecting the appropriate hardware and software products for organizations. The student will integrate these products with the organizational needs of infrastructure and installation, as well as the customization and maintenance of applications for computer users of the organization.
The responsibilities of the student include the installation of networks, administration and security of networks, the design of web pages, development of multimedia resources, the installation of communication components, the supervision of e-mail systems, the planning and management of the cycle of life, by which the technology of an organization is maintained, updated and replaced.
The student must have training in analysis techniques, systems evaluation, environment configuration, computer services and networks. Also, the student will be responsible for identifying risks and making decisions when applying security schemes in Information Technology in the people they use.
