Professional success depends, largely, on English language proficiency.
In the Department of English we contribute to the teaching of the English language within the framework of the university community and society; spreading and promoting culture. We strengthen and provide linguistic knowledge to our students, for their best personal, academic and professional development.
We have teachers committed to excellence and quality in the development of their functions through teaching - learning a foreign language to insure that our students obtain an academic training that allows them to successfully new professional challenges.
The main objective of this area is to help, facilitate and join students in their educational experience inside and outside the classroom in an appropriate, professional and responsible manner.
Within the Faculty and as a curricular subject there are five courses in the subject of English which have an equivalence of level B1 according to the Common European Framework of reference for Languages.
Examination calendar of the Faculty of Languages and Letters that is published at the beginning of each semester. This exam being a requirement for the degree.
