Registration profile:
The candidate should have the aptitudes and interest in the basic sciences: Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics. At the same time, the student should possess the capacity of observation and critique deep reasoning, dedication & discipline; initiative & creativity; capabilities to work in the laboratory and interest in experimenting.
Graduating profile:
The Graduated “Engineer in Nanotechnology” of the Universidad Autónoma de Querétro will be a multi & trans-disciplinary professional with a solid formation in the basic applied sciences. The graduate shall perform within the design and elaboration of materials and nano-structured systems for the development of devices, with potential applications in Chemistry, Electronics, Aerospace & Bio-Medicine, in addition to all of those creative and material transformation activities, natural as well as synthetic.
Based upon the objective terminal lines of the program, professional and investigating, the graduate will possess the capacity to continue his/her learning in an independent manner, as well as develop the capabilities to confront and solve real problems in the industrial and scientific ambiances.
The Nanotechnology Engineer will be a professional with an integral formation that will allow him/her to contribute to the development of the country with efficiency and whose work shall be based in the sustainability, acting with responsibility and push towards the competitiveness. The graduate Nanotechnology Engineer will participate in the innovation processes and development of technologies that promote the progress of the country.
