Graduate Profile
Graduates of the program are expected to possess the following knowledge and skills: |
- Awareness of theoretical, epistemological, methodological, logical and technical knowledge that aids in the comprehension, professional intervention and research of the psychological processes present in the educational field. Based on the possession of said knowledge, graduates will posses and develop both general and specific abilities to intervene in both dominant and emerging fields of study, research and the exercise of educational psychology.

- Ability to incorporate and develop attitudes and value which lend themselves to professional development with a spirit that is scientific, critical, ethical, serviceable, purposeful, open, continuous, innovative, transdisciplinary, humanistic and democratic, in order to stimulate the development of the study of educational psychology and be a factor of change and problem-solving.

- Ability to carry out the following professional tasks: evaluation and psychological intervention; evaluation and promotion of development and training; orientation and psycho-pedagogical and institutional support in different levels of intervention (individual, group, couple, family and institutional) and educational problems both in training and in schools; stimulation of development and learning; consulting and intervention in special education, human sexuality, health and gerontology; case integration; derivation; research; teaching; planning design and elaboration of programs; education and means of communication; learning processes and new technology.

- Ability to develop professionally in the following occupational areas: private practice, intervention in public and private institutions in the educational and health sectors, non-government social organizations and emerging social sectors.

- Complementary skills generated by new technologies and and methods of telecommunication and their applications to psychological and educational processes.
