Admission Process:
The students admission process shall be annual and be carried out jointly with the other Philosophy Faculty Bachelors. In order to integrate into the program the student should:
Comply with the Entrance Requirement as per the School Services Department: General Examinations, Registration & Incorporation & Studies Validating as per the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro.
Entrance Profile:
Possess the base academic development of previous formation; therefore, each student will be scrutinized as to how his/her capabilities, studies and values were developed from an academic perspective, same that may be seen reflected in the achievement average. In the same manner, observe his/her previous performance in disciplines related to Humanities. The History discipline prefers students that like to read, write, and investigate.

Forming professionals with a historical consciousness and sensibility, gifted with a critical thought attitude and being able to actively participate in the country’s cultural life. Each passing day it becomes clear that the Historian participation within our society requires various professional fields. Cultural History Major Terminal Line
The Bachelor of History graduate connected to the forming Cultural and Historical Patrimony will have the necessary theoretical and practical tools to participate in the projects that tend to investigate, evaluate, preserve and broadcast the Cultural and Historical National and Regional Patrimony. The setting in the labor market will be according to the acquired practice of the competence capabilities. In this Major Specialty Line, the graduate will have the tools in order to participate in an individual manner, or in teams in the formal broadcasting of the Cultural and Historical Patrimony, in museums and cultural institutions within the school’s educational system, as well as cultural tourism. In regards to connecting matters, our students will join works through professional practices and social services, such as heritage stock, registry of furnishing goods, documentaries and the elaboration of museum scripts.
The Major Terminal Line within History Teaching:
The graduates of the Bachelor of History that choose this Major Terminal Line will have the professional profile to be able to attend this important labor sector, with multiplying effects in the general education ambience.
Objectives: the Bachelor of History graduate that has taken the History Teaching Major Terminal Line will have the necessary theoretical and methodological tools to participate in different educational ambiences: working before a group, educational services in museums and the elaboration of educational materials, amongst others. Will be able to carry out his/her professional work based upon context knowledge.
Linkage: As a strategy to link our graduates to the teaching labor work, it is contemplated to elaborate contracts with educational institutions and historical museums in order to become conscious about the importance of finding professionals for History teaching and promote our graduates to become the main transforming agents in the educational ambience in all that concerns History teaching.
Historical Investigation Major Terminal Line:
The Bachelor graduates will not have the same discipline as the professional investigator competences
(developing such competence is the main objective of the Master in Historical Studies). This Major Line professionally prepares the graduate to solve problems about study objectives, elaborating investigation project proposals and having a forming level that would allow working primary sources, and elaborating thoughtful academic essays about interest themes. This Line directly links to the LGAC defined in the History CA. For all Humanities study areas, as well as for the social investigation it is now a bad moment. The studies that do not provide as a result the offering of a service, or incorporate to the labor market appear to be out of place. Nonetheless, social investigation in general, and in particular History, can train the student with such tools that would allow production and incorporate to the investigation analysis and thought project processes.
