Objectives:
The objective of this course is to form within the graduates of the Nursing Science Master Academic Program the professional competences that would allow them to process the health services, and work professionally in nursing educational programs from an innovating vision as well as developing within the assistance ambience.
Entrance Profile:
At the health area of the Bachelor’s level, the entering student shall possess general culture knowledge. The new student should have the communication capabilities for the handling of information. At the same time, the student should be capable to interrelate with other people and interact in a team, demonstrating responsibility attitudes, collaborating and coordination. The student should possess a scientific and humanistic attitude, and a particular interest in the health area.

In the first place, we understand as competence: “a convergence of social behaviors, affective ant the cognitive, psychological, sense and locomotion capabilities that allow to carry out a role, a performance, an activity a task” Argudín (2001).
This concept can be seen from three approvals: the one that refers to the competitiveness about being better than the rest. The one that relates with a responsibility ambience; the one that we have properly assumed within this proposal which links with the capacity to do something, know how, and why and for what it is done, in such a manner that can be transferred. Therefore, the competition knowledge that sustains the proposal rests upon the basic knowledge that our graduates will possess. Knowing through one’s self as a base and explaining knowledge what it considers comprehension. Knowing how to do, like the play set of the capabilities based upon knowledge. Knowing how to be, as a more complex part due to its attitude character implications, even evaluating, and knowing how to transfer, as the possibility to get across the immediate context in order to act and adapt to novelties.
Work field:
Investigation, teaching, process gesture, administration and community clinical assistance, being its opinion about the performance of the different professional activities carried out, from good to average.
