| Graduate Profile | |
The formation profile of the Bachelor of Nursing is fundamentally linking the equilibrated contribution of knowledge, capabilities and attitudes, in this perspective the graduated Nurse is trained, and formed within the concept of knowing how to be, and doing, interacting under a dialectic reasoning with the dynamic reality of the professional practice in a determined social context. In this sense, the Bachelor of Nursing Career graduate is the receiver of one solid discipline formation: scientific and technical, cultural, humanistic, political, ethical and legal, theoretical fundamental, methodological and instrumental. The graduate having the capabilities and attitudes is placed in a privilege condition for intervening in different circumstances and spaces of professional practice: dominating institutionalized practice, in particular, oriented towards curing, and the emerging duties. Furthermore, the graduated Nurse stimulates and promotes preservation and the re-establishment of health, as well as the free exercise of the profession; offering consulting services about problems; direct specific attention, orientation and education, promoting and preserving the demanding individual’s health, this last quality concept is the most contemporary and generalized tendency amongst Nurses. |
