To enter the program candidates must take an English diagnostic exam, take and pass a selection exam (diagnostic exam of experience and training of the candidate) about integrated knowledge in the concept of basins, and obtain a positive evaluation in the interview with the selection committee, made up of participating professors in the postgraduate program and named by the Master's Academic Commission. Each student who has been accepted to the program will join the theoretical-practical preparatory work of the first semester. Starting during the second semester, they will choose among the participating professors, depending on the disciplinary emphasis of their work, those who will later act as their thesis advisors. Additionally, a tutorial committee comprised of a director and one or two professors from distinct professional areas will be named to each student. These committees will be in charge of guiding the students during their postgraduate studies and will form part of the thesis committee. |
