Graduating Profile:
The “Land Registration Engineering Specialty” graduate shall be capable to analyze, understand, propose, and lead concrete real estate tax matters as per the juridical frame and according to the updated procedures with the Geo-Space technologies. The graduate shall have the necessary information to carry out his/her duty processes, and be able to take decisions about real estate taxation issues. The graduate should have the specialized knowledge within his/her field and be able to apply them to practical problems related to Real Estate Taxation Engineering
Labor field:
The “Land Registration Engineering Specialty’s” main objective is to form professionals with the capacity to perform critical analysis about the current real estate taxation and its jurisdiction, the methods being applied to determine the taxation-fiscal value of the subjected property, and the taxation policy which defines the real estate tax. Beginning from this thought, and the related discussions, it is hoped that the Specialists should be prepared to assume the eventual challenges that demand paradigm changes for the better financing, and urban development. In the same manner specialized human resources are looked for in the design, preparing, management, and information administration for the use and exploitation of real estate tax information systems of territorial multipurpose character with the strategic vision of the territorial real estate taxation.

Study plan:
The study plan of the “Land Registration Engineering Specialty” is a one year program divided into three quarters. During the first quarter the student shall dedicate to the study of antecedents and the evolution of the Territorial Tax concept, the multi-purpose of land taxation, mapping taxation, massive land appraisals with fiscal purposes, and the urban financial instrument: During the second quarter the acquired knowledge of the first quarter will be integrated, also the pupil will study the concepts of Land Taxation Engineering and Real Estate Taxation. On the third quarter the pupil shall study themes related to Urban Planning and City Financing.
