Graduates of this program are civil engineers with a solid grounding in mathematics, physics and chemistry, as well as the sciences of civil engineering, such as the mechanics of solids, fluids and continuous materials, among others. They apply their knowledge in the area of their specialization for the solution of problems in construction, structures, geotechnics, hydraulics, sanitation and transportation, at the level of planning, design, organization, construction, operation and conservation, with the help of tools that facilitate systematization, administration, and communication.
Field of Work
Civil Engineers will be able to work in state or federal governmental departments (PEMEX, CFE, SCT), in the private sector (factories, business, etc.), in the areas of communication, telecommunication, mechatronics, and bioengineering. They will be able to work in design planning, equipment selection, implementation and supervision of electronic systems, as well as in consultancy and advisement.

Required after 70% of credits taken. As of the 6th semester, a minimum of *160% credits must be covered by professional practice, lasting a total of 200 hours.
