General objective:
The general objective of the Master of Engineering in Land Communications is to form human resources in a specialized master program for the planning, design, construction and preservation of land communications within the national territory. The purpose is also for the management, preparation and information administration for the forming, use and exploitation of the transportation systems which make Land Communications the sustainable integral focusing.
Should fundamentally satisfy the following profile:
- Should be a Civil Engineer or be in a compatible area
- Should have satisfactorily completed the Bachelor’s of Civil Engineering degree corresponding to the study plan and have the corresponding title.
- Having earned a minimum general average of 8.0 in the scale: 1-10
- Having the technical skills that the program requires, in particular in the basic areas such a mathematics and computer systems applied to engineering.
- Being interested in the study field
- Having the discipline and having made the commitment to carry out the established goals and assigned tasks.
Graduated profile:
The graduate of “Engineering in Land Communications” shall be a professional capable of solving problems related to the following application areas:
- The planning of land communications (roads and highways)
- The optimum and adequate design according to the international standards and specifications
- The construction associated process
- The operation, maintenance and rehabilitating of infrastructure works of the Land Communications as result of the use and the impact of environmental conditions
- The development of applied projects, efficiently contributing to the technological development, in addition to actively participating in the development of the country
