Field of Work:
Graduates of the Bachelor’s Degree program in Computer Science will be able to correctly apply their abilities within any organization, using labor-associated knowledge and dominating the creation as well as the use of CIT´s.
They will be able to successfully use the English language to read any type of text and to maintain a fluid conversation.
Besides their professional certification, graduates will be equipped with real-world training that will facilitate their expedient acceptance into the industry.
Graduates will have the abilities necessary to find work in developed software and systems information businesses, as well as businesses from the public and private sectors which require tailor-made applications. They will also be able to create their own business in consulting, advising, software development or information systems.
Additionally, they will be able to participate in the development, implementation, and assimilation of information systems required by organizations in the public and private sectors. In this same vein, they will have the preparation necessary to study in postgraduate programs in the fields of computation and computer science. Finally, through the appropriate additional training (Specialization or Master of Teaching) they will be prepared to enter the field of academics as a teacher at the high school or college level.

The Bachelor in Computer Science at the UAQ will be a professional with solid training in the processes associated with administrative management, application of business skills, and the integration of datum suitable for the needs, size, and proposals of a business. All these skills will enable graduates to tailor the use of information technology to the objectives of a business. For example: Implement computer systems based on ERP, CRM, B2C and B2B standards and make use of intelligence business technology in the administration of electronic navigation, data storage, data mining and electronic commerce.
