| Field of Work |
Graduates of the Pharmaceutical Biochemistry program will be prepared to participate in the solution of problems relating to the production of goods and services for human health.
They will be professionals who have gained the knowledge and technical skills necessary for the use of substances and procedures, with the goal of preventing, diagnosing, and curing disease.
They will be trained to measure, evaluate, and research biological constants and their modifications. This will allow them to carry out laboratory analysis for the evaluation of therapeutics while developing, producing, and carrying out the control of the individual phases of each process. They will take into account the chemical, physical, pharmacological, biological, and toxicological aspects of medications and cosmetics. They will also be able to participate in the detection and solution of problems of health and public hygiene according to scientific, methodological, and legal criteria. They will be able to work in pharmacies, dispensing medication and providing guidance for proper administration. Finally, they will have the ability to continue studies at the postgraduate level.
