Definition

Contract by which one of the parties, referred to as Lessor, obliges himself to temporarily transfer the use and enjoyment of a chattel or property to a different party referred to as Lessee, who in turn obliges himself to pay a given and specific fee for that use or enjoyment.

The fee can consist in a sum of money paid once, or in a periodic quantity, which will, in this case, be referred to as rent.

AUQ's Regulation of Procurement, Leasing and Services article 33 fractions I, II and VII. Civil Code for the State of Queretaro, article 2284, 2285, 226, 2292.

Procedure:

  1. Formal petition of the interested before the AUQ's Committee for Procurement, Leasing and Services.
    1. Name of the owner of the property to be leased.
    2. Property clearance of the property to be leased.
    3. Fee amount and justification.
    4. Inventory
  2. Official letter of authorization from the AUQ's Committee for Procurement, Leasing and Services. 
    1. Session Date in which it is authorized and conditions.
    2. Request and elaboration of the Lease Agreement.
  3. Signing of the Agreement.
  4. Sending of the Agreement to the related areas. 
  5. Digitalization
  6. Filing 

Documentation that must be included in the dossier:

  1. Request
  2. Documents evidencing that the Contracting party is registered in the Register of Suppliers (The Comptroller's secretary issues the official letter of registration)
  3. Authorization from the Committee for Procurement, Leasing and Services.
  4. Document evidencing the property to be leased.
  5. Original Agreement properly signed by the parties.
  6. Official letter of delivery of the Agreement to the participating institution.
  7. Official letter of dispatch to the University areas involved.
